Project Description

A living wall is a highly visible and engaging way to advertise the freshness of menu items.

In this application, the culinary staff was involved in selecting and planting herbs and greens to use in their kitchens during the growing season.  This living wall served as a temporary demonstration until the site was renovated to include a new building addition.  The wall planters were relocated to permanent homes over three separate locations in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  One of which rests on the other side of this building (Bobarino’s), where it is still used to delight diners with ultra-fresh (and cost effective) ingredients.
