Anyone who has visited a large city in the summer months knows that they can get very hot! In fact, often a whopping 12 degrees warmer than the surrounding area, according to Rudi Scheuermann, Director and Global Leader for Building Envelope Design at Arup.

Forbes recently called out the advantages of living walls to help mitigate this effect, improving quality of life and helping mitigate other environmental concerns, such as flooding, air pollution and limited access to nature.
