Cedar Point Amusement Park’s Living Wall at Valravn Roller Coaster

When the new Valravn dive coaster was introduced in 2016, Cedar Point constructed a wall between a seating area and the 65 m (214 ft) tall ride.

Cedar Fair included a LiveWall system on the wall plans to add seasonal beauty, enhance noise attenuation, and provide natural cooling.

The amusement park staff replants the wall each year with annuals that bear plentiful flowers and/or bright colored foliage.  In these photos, the wall is planted with a mix of wave petunias.  In other seasons, the wall has featured coleus selections.  What does the living wall have growing in it this year?  See for yourself!  Head to Sandusky, Ohio, and enjoy the worlds’ tallest, fastest and longest dive coaster.
