The B.O.B. Living Wall Outside of Dr. Grins Comedy Club

This experimental indoor “hops” living wall is growing outside of Dr. Grins Comedy Club, one of many entertainment and dining options in The B.O.B. (which stands for  The”Big Old Building”) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The hops signal the quality of ingredients chosen to craft the beers offered by B.O.B.’s Brewery, located in the lower levels of the building.

Hops would typically be farmed as an outdoor crop; however, this green wall is mounted indoors in a stairwell that receives natural lighting.
