Sempra Energy Building Sloped Wall

This living wall installation at Sempra Energy Headquarters is quite different than the typical LiveWall project.  This San Diego project uses a custom-built frame to form a slope.

The living wall structure resembles a staircase, where each row of planters extends further out from the row above it.  This application requires additional water than a typical living wall because each row has additional exposure and evaporation.

A selection of perennials fill the green wall planters.  The photographs here demonstrate the living wall at the time of planting.
