Bird Image Composed of LiveWall Plants

LiveWall allows for easy plant replacement and rearrangement, making green walls a fun way to express creativity.  In this installation, selections of brightly colored annuals are arranged in a bird-shaped pattern.  The playful living wall design is easy to create and maintain.

Coleus (Plectranthus scutellarioides) forms the background.  The bird’s legs and wings are made with selections of sweet potato vine (Ipomea batatas).  Silver nickel vine (Dicondra ‘Silver Falls’) and a White-Leaved Cineraria (Cineraria maritima) are combined in planters to create a white, feathery effect for the bird’s body.
