Designed to bring energy, beauty, and function to the outdoor space, the living wall is a focal point that enhances both employee experience and community appeal.

“We wanted to create something more than just another building,” said Lauren Fogarty, Chief Digital Strategies Officer at Christian Financial Credit Union. “Our new HQ gave us the opportunity to design meaningful moments into the architecture—and LiveWall allowed us to bring life into a space where our team can work, relax, and recharge.”
Located adjacent to an outdoor patio, the LiveWall isn't just visible to passersby; it's a vibrant part of the workplace that employees enjoy during the warmer months. The installation has become a seasonal centerpiece, with annual plant selections and designs changing each year. This mirrors the credit union’s own approach to innovation: rooted in steady values, yet constantly adapting.

“Our team loves spending time outside when the weather allows,” added Bob Maxon, Facilities Maintenance Manager. “The LiveWall adds color and motion to the space, and the flexibility of the design means we can get creative every season.”
The project came to life through a collaborative vision led by Christian Financials’ internal team and was realized with the support of their design and construction partners, Thompson Phelan. The result is a thoughtful blend of utility and inspiration—an outdoor retreat that reflects the organization’s commitment to people and place.
Beyond its visual impact, the process offered valuable insights. “Not all plants grow the same,” noted Fogarty. “Some have a wilder growth pattern than others. If you want clean lines or defined sections, be intentional with your plant choices. The LiveWall team helped us understand those dynamics.”
